Why do people post useless configs

I'm pretty sure they're aware of how useless those configs are, but they just want to farm some sort of imaginary contribution points or whatever. And for likes as well but I don't think the useless configs really get any likes to begin with.

maybe it's easy and don't use captcha's etc. so they can spam posts with real working checker or config
