More simple approach would be to use regex in npp

go to top of file and set the pointer in starting

Taking the same example, Use the "replace" Tab ... (ctrl+H)
in Find tab type ".*123.*"
in Search Mode select "Regular Expressions"

keep replace box empty and do replace all
