Sort out the spam of threads in chatbox

Hey,

So I've noticed that the spam of threads in chat box can become quite bad especially as the forum grows or when chat is inactive for awhile.

I feel like threads that have been posted within the same 10 minutes should get bunched together.

And if chat is inactive for 15 minutes then only send threads marked as important to the chat.

That completely defeats the purpose of the feature, its meant to draw extra attention to threads so people don't need to go looking for them and can interact with each other. It only looks like spam because the shoutbox is inactive, if people were talking they would just blend in as they do throughout the day. It also helps cycle old messages away so people don't answer hours after when the person is no longer around.

Again, that defeats the purpose of the feature. I'm sorry but it's fine as it is, as we gain more members the shoutbox will become more active and these notifications will not bunch up as much. They always appear in groups towards the evening. Thank you for the suggestion though,
