Regarding the reputation system, and how to improve it

Ok so I've been -rep spammed recently, because some kid thought I was requesting in shoutbox (I didn't) and his friend continued to -rep. I am fine with that, it happens and it's just worthless internet points. But it got me thinkin' for a bit, Can't we try to improve that reputation system a bit? Because apparently, some users care about that

HQ users like "Her", or SlaveOf3001 and many other people. So here's my suggestion



Let's make the reputation system similar to the report option, except instead of "Wrong Forum" we can make it "HQ user" (If the reputation giver decides to make it a +rep), and in the -rep option let's make it "Leechers" or "Spammer" or something.

That can increase the efficiency of the rep system, and actually make it useful as intended

The reputation is nothnig that can be approved, neither with your idea or suggestion. Some people are throwing around negative reputation like tic tacs, this will never be fixable since you don't really control anyone's (negative) reputation behavior.

But I fixed your rep, the red number was a bit ugly

Good idea , i agree. In fact , reputation system nowadays has become a 'troll system' : ex : if you did not like my thread , you -rep me , you dont like my ideas , my suggestion , you -rep me …
This is really un fair at the point that group of friends can -rep you all of them for literally no reason …
Suggestion : new rule : dont make fake reputations .

Yeah that would fix a few things, but it's not really much of a solution. it'd be an uncontrollable rule as people will tend to make fake reasons to -rep

As an example i didn't like someone's thread, so I make up a reason like "Toxicity in shoutbox" and get all my friends to do -rep him for that reason. despite having no proof of the user's toxicity.
