Its a pencil tip since the graphite is taken from a mine and the pencil is made of wood so the graphite is stuck in the pencil. You are never released since it cant be released unless you sharpen it till its nothing or you remove the wood off of it. You are also never released cause your always used and theres a grip usually on it and also the wood is always touching it and holding it.
