What is Google Team Drive?

 
Google Team Drive is a common space for storing, searching, accessing document files for a group (Team Drive), instead of for each individual (My Drive).
Unlike files in My Drive, documents in Team Drive belong to a Team instead of an individual.
So even if Team members quit, these files are still intact, thereby helping your Team to continue accessing data, sharing information and completing work.
For Team Drive, you can edit permissions for each member, such as editing, deleting files, managing, moving files or just viewing them without being able to download or delete files.
