wifite only works on linux - when you're doing anything like this its best to run off a bootable/live linux USB - you can look up how to get a kali bootable and its quite easy to do.

VMs won't work as they don't give direct access to the networking card.

You *can* get aircrack for windows though, so you can do the same things it just takes a bit more work.

Below is a quick tutorial to break into someone's wifi (including WPA2) without too much work.

It uses a dictionary attack, but its quite easy to do a brute force as well if you want.
