 thru something similar.

What a shitty gf.

I've had my  share of depression, best thing for me to do was to kill my free time.
Get any job, a hobbie, whatever, but dont stay still. The more time you spend surfing the web or alone without something to keep you focused it makes it worse.

I hope you get better bro  :comfy:

depression: SIG E CAPS
S-sleep loss
I- interest loss
G- Guilt/worthlessness
E- Energy loss
C- Concentration difficulties
A- Appetite decrease/increase (weight changes)
P- Psychomotor - agitation (anxiety) / retardation (lethargic)
S- Suicidal

if you have a few of these, chances are that you are depressed. First step is acknowledging you are depressed and seek help. Depression is a medical condition and it can be successfully treated. Millions of people around the world also suffer from this condition.
It is good that you came here to talk about it. Talking about it often lets you get things off your mind and also lets you realize that certain situations aren't always what they seem to be.
Although opening up to others about your situation does have its benefits, seeking professional help would be in your best interest. A lot of times, there is a bad cultural stigma about seeing psychiatrist. However, psychiatrists can prescribe you important needed medication that can best help you overcome your condition. There is no shame in seeing psychiatrist or taking antidepressants. Antidepressants are extremely effective and have minimal side effects--i know because they helped me!
Like what was said in previous posts, it helps a lot to get hobbies and go out with friends.. anything to keep your mind preoccupied with things that don't make you sad.
Once you improve your current mood situation (with the help of a psychiatrist), you will probably find that it would be easier to commit yourself to earning more money. Don't give up hope!
If you ever feel suicidal, call 911 immediately.

good luck, you are not alone!
