Config works, only downside is that once a proxy is banned there's no way of knowing. It will continue to use that proxy and accounts that do work will show up as fails.

I meant that the proxies never get banned in open bullet. They get banned but you can't tell unless you manually try a proxy against a working account and you'll notice it'll show up as a fail. I did look into it but there's no way of actually checking because the redirect response from the post request is the exact same when a proxy is banned and when the login of an account is incorrect.
