A mobile app would be a good way to spread this website cause a lot of people are using this site in conjunction with their phones. Or maybe a phone app specifically for info that applies only to phones.

It's actually really easy to turn a site into a progressive web app.  I did one for my gf as a gift, just gotta add a service worker and some other knick knacks

The only use I could see in this, is being able to talk in the shoutbox or replying to messages/posts easier when I'm not home or busy in another room. The forum is amazing but it's primarily focused on the PC genre of users and isn't too useful for mobile users.

I wouldnt bet on that.. ive had forums that were also mobile friendly, but its really difficult to navigate..
