[Beginner] How to properly obfuscate .bat or .ps1 files (advanced methods?)

Hey,I'm pretty new to scripting and programming in general, and I’m trying to figure out how to obfuscate

.ps1

files as effectively as possible.I've seen some basic methods, but I’m looking for more advanced techniques or tools that can make the script harder to read or reverse-engineer.
What I’m looking for:

• Solid methods to obfuscate batch and PowerShell scripts
  
• Any tools or scripts that help automate the process
  
• Tips, tricks, or even examples of well-obfuscated code
  
• Things to avoid or watch out for

There isn't a single tool or something that can deobfuscate all batch or powershell files. You're best bet is to figure out the obfuscation they are using (if public) and target trying to find a deobfuscator for that. If there isn't one, most obfuscation can be deobfuscated manually but can take some time depending on the complexity.
