(my opinion) About thanks from mod or admin, cracked. To is a big community, and you get appreciation from community members. The staff team won't congratulate you specifically in person or make some thread about your contribution. Staff is neutral on all grounds. All are equal for us.

We work as a community, not on an individual basis.

There are people here who have 3000+ threads they keep contributing. They contribute. They never asked for some attention or awards.
