I came from an iPhone to Android. Having used both of them extensively, iOS is much more complicated. People always say "Android's are so confusing!" and tbh they're just dumb. iOS hides everything in the name of "simplicity" and while it may look more simple, it actually just makes everything confusing.

Personally, I would never live without an android, but if someone comes and asks me what phone he/she should buy, I'd go with an iPhone almost all the time

It's much more user friendly specially for the elder, and its pretty smooth in terms of animations 
And most people don't care about specs once they use the phone and find how smooth the OS is and the premium feel it has, that's how apple wins

To be fair I have seen android skins get much better in the recent years and has some smoothness to it, but still not that user friendly so yeah, still not gonna recommend it to your everyday joe unless he knows what he is going to get and wants it

Android is quite good as compared to ISO, in my opinions, i'd prefer android over IOS.
