My very first car was an old Honda Civic.  It was a workhorse and it gave me a love of Civics in general.

It was a standard and I learned standard some months prior so I could share driving to Florida in an old MGB.  While in Florida, my boyfriend and I got stopped by the state police because two people in a "foreign car" had committed a robbery nearby.  It wasn't us for sure.  But we got stopped and had guns in our faces, etc.  But that's a different story LOL.

On the good side, I learned how to drive stick and I did that with my first Honda and with all my cars since.

My first car wasn't so much my own car but one I had to share with my brother. It was a 2015 Ford Fusion - all of my family's cars before that were Toyota or Honda, and tbh foreign > American. Our Camry's were a couple years older and never managed to bring up any issue while the Ford had steering problems not even a year later. It was brand new btw. Overall, nice looking car but Ford kinda wack lol. Learning experience though!
