I used NordVPN Dedicated IP Servers to use multiple sites, including Netflix, which has worked and is still working - for now.
However, I have also been BANNED for using DEDICATED IP servers (which should not have triggered any alarms) from these sites:
- Pokerstars = I simulated being in the UK, when in fact I was in my Home country. I live in the UK, but when I come back, I usually use Nord dedicated IP to continue to play. Pokerstars blocked my account and sent me a warning to log in from a UK address for real and without any VPN. I said "I am..." as I logged in to my Dedicated UK IP using Nord. They replied back saying something along the lines of... "We see you're still using a VPN" and proceeded to block my account. SAD!
- Okcupid = I tried logging on to create a profile on there whilst using a dedicated IP address and even tried a simple p2p address, but the page simply won't load when I'm connected to Nord. Yes, even when I'm connected to their dedicated IP service.
- Paypal = Always getting shadow-suspended for a couple days by their bots for switching between Personal account and Business account using the same IP address or maybe it's because it was the same IP address AND the same computer? Who knows. But Nord certainly doesn't help me in this regard. Now I only log in to my personal account using computer and business account using phone to prevent these shadow-suspensions.
- Chat sites = Even with Dedicated IP on these sites, I get INSTABANNED. Lol. Don't believe me? Try it with one of the chat sites that don't allow VPNs. They will detect you're using Nord immediately even as you use Dedicated IP.
- Facebook = I tried creating a new account the other day, with a new email address I had just created, and as soon as I finish filling up all the forms, and press Register, I get banned instantly. Like, INSTANTLY. What happened? Could be a combination of things. But Nord certainly didn't help. If their Dedicated IP was really a dedicated IP, I perhaps could have gotten away with this fake Facebook account. But nooooo... No help from Nord. Perhaps could have also been the fact that I had an account that was previously banned by FB for trying to sell Nord logins on the Marketplace and they had detected my computer trying to create another account? Who knows. But my 2 real accounts, created more than 6 years ago for the both of them, have not been locked or suspended. Just my fake one which I had also created 5-6 years ago but which I used to make a mistake of trying to sell Nord on there... Whatever it is, shouldn't a Dedicated IP also have masked my computer? IF the problem was really my computer's unique ID. It probably was the fact that I tried to register an account using a VPN in all likelihood... And nothing to do with my computer ID itself. If that is the case, two thumbs down to Nord for having servers that sets off alarm bells. Booo...
So my question is this: Which is actually the BEST VPN provider? Like where the VPN actually can circumvent all these problems I had faced.
Secondly, if there is no such real providers of the sort of service I want, HOW DO I go about trying to set myself up in a way that masks my IP and the websites I use doesn't know that I'm masking my IP. I KNOW this is a possible, using proxy-VPS or whatever... But I have not the faintest idea how it is done. Confused as shit basically. I tried a few videos online, but it's difficult to understand even though I'm reasonably advanced in most other ways. If someone can explain to me the proxy-VPS thing in laymans term it would be nice.
