Hi i just came up with a idea whwhen at if to get smaller chance of being ratted adn got ransowrmare jsut staff devs or some one  when u want to post a exe rar any file it wil go trought virus total not by u just adding virus total link.
 IDK i am just ful out of ideas now :monkas:

u know when u post a exe file in therads ? Most of them are rat and ranswormare and forum said to open in vm and that. So my idea was if somenoe pres to uplload file it auto scna for any rat adn that :monkas: :??:

dude i got you .. but direct file uploading / file attachment is not allowed here.. we need to upload all types in some third party services.. we only do share here links.

there is no option to upload files here in threads..... so the concept you saying cant be done here.....

People upload exe files in other services like mega, anonfiles. and scan those exe files in virustotal then they share links only here.

where did i said u ratting ?

yes agree with u we cant be sure even after VT links... thats why it is suggested to run tools in VM / sandboxie or RDP to safe from such threats harming your main system.

here many people including me check all VT files and exe files. if we found them infected we do report those files and that thread get deleted in no time....

so all you can do is just look VT detection of those files... see them what detection and virus that file showing... copy its name google it....

if u see anything like backdoor , stealer written something then report that thread. mods will do take actions...

your smartness can save you here

I understand what you said, but is not possible i guess, only if they put the .exe separate so you can scan direct it from the link, so the folder will not contain any executable file and after to put them all together by yourself.

Use Sandboxie if you want to open a executable file that you think is contains any kind of virus instead of VM.
