If you know him in person, pay him a visit, tell him what know and demand and explanation. He will try to excuse himself and feel soooo uncomfortable, and will remember it for years, at random occasion, while getting a shower, taking a shit, having a snack by himself, etc. Or he will apologize and ask you how he can make it up to you.
