I recently had to crawl a bunch of websites and decided that it'd be safe to use proxies to avoid getting banned. Since I needed a lot of proxies for a cheap price, I ended up creating an application that crawls proxies from publicly available proxy lists and checks them to make sure they work.

I've made it possible to access the list and the checker via a website if anyone is interested. All features are available via an API.
