Method #1
- make a email with same accounts email just with a different domain so, if its test@gmail.com make a test@hotmail.com
- Use TextNow (FREE) to get a phone number with the same area code as the one on the account.
- Call GameStop support and ask them to change the email address for whatever smart reason, ex: I lost my access to the old phone and it has the email, etc.
- Once the email is changed redeem the points for online gift cards, in-store stuff. Enjoy!
Method #2
- Login to the GameStop account through the website on an Incognito browser (Chrome or DuckDuckGo) and go to the account settings, go to the email, change email, verify, then change the phone number on file, logout and log back into the account
- When logged back in, click the profile photo icon in the top right, click on the points, then redeem the points for an in-store gift card/certificate
- Go to a GameStop store location, grab gift cards, say you want to use rewards, have the phone number on file ready, tell them the # on the account and the name tied to the account
- After confirming the name on the account, you should be good to go.
