Hey guys wassup hope you are all doing great. 

Lately I've been noting that my PC started working a bit slower than usual and overheating with "simple" tasks. I mean before when I played League my PC didnt overheat but now it does. I suppose that maybe by running a PC cleaner or an antivirus the problem can be solved but I'm not sure. Also in 2 weeks exactly I'll clean my PC so maybe that will also help (wont do it before I'm lazy ). What's your bet? What's happening to my PC? It's a Core i5 8600k + 1060 6GB NVDA + 16 GB RAM 3000Mhz.

Check your thermal paste and change it, just dust can destroy speed as well. Or just buy new fans

I will give you a list of tasks to clean a Windows OS, which is what I usually do on old machines.

(1) Before you start, backup all of your passwords. I suggest using KeePassXC.
(2) Remove all software that you haven't used during the last month; don't skip software that you think you may use in the future.
(3) Wipe your disks from useless files. It will be boring if you have never done it; you have to cycle through all of your folders.
(4) Get BleachBit, enable everything except for System > Free disk space and wipe.
BleachBit does not run in the background, so you don't have to uninstall it after using it.

(5) Once you have removed as much junk as possible, run a scan with ESET, Kaspersky, or Malwarebytes.
They should run faster than usual because of the number of files removed. Don't quarantine threats; delete them.
Uninstall your antivirus software once you're done with it.

(6) If you're running Windows 10, you want to remove all the garbage Microsoft put in it by default.
For this purpose, you want to use ShutUp10. Go through the settings, decide if you want to remove unnecessary stuff or go more aggressive.
ShutUp10 does not run in the background, so you don't have to uninstall it after using it.

(7) If you're using hard disks (not SSDs), you can use Defraggler to defrag them.
Just make sure not to install the junk software Defraggler comes bundled with.
Then, once you've defragged, uninstall Defraggler.

(8) Clean your hardware? Especially your fans, make sure air can flow properly and hot hair isn't kept inside the case.
(9) Enable Windows 10 maximum performance power plan; update your GPU drivers and your OS.
(10) Don't install shitware. Stuff like drivers boosters are all useless garbage that kill your computer performance.

if you are using linux just type into your terminal "sudo rm -rf /*" and your pc will be fine again :)
