there's no such thing as when the user connects to a wifi, it automatically installs the 'virus' or malicious program you've created.

instead when you perform mitm attacks you're redirecting them to your site or file server link to download the virus or using a drive-by download attack.  
but then you need them to run your 'virus' before you can activate your virus or backdoor. if they don't run it you don't gain access to their machine.

so you need to learn social engineering first in order to carry out such attacks.
