lately they have been getting a lot of attention as one of the most famous anonymous vpns and i'm wondering if that attention could make them sell their soul for the law enforcement
so what do you guys think?    Popcorn

There are only 2 good VPN providers for remaining anonymous, iVPN and Mullvad with a potential 3rd being cryptostorm. NordVPN, Express, Surfshark, etc are thought to be honeypots and are owned by large companies who own more VPNs. Of course whenever your data passes through other servers that you DO NOT own, you are not safe. Only way to be a secure as possible is to use a server and create your own encryption/vpn. Right now I use mullvad. Its simple operates through account numbers no sign up and they are pretty good. I see they are attracting more attention to themselves which is always something to worry about. If they keep attracting alot of attention Ill probably end up moving.

So lawenforcement may ask them for info and they will, like other's hand out the info they got.

It is still being anonymous compared to other VPNs because you don't make an account there with mail and password (you'll get a random generated ID to which you add balance to) then you don't need to provide address details and can't pay with an payment method which can be tracked easily (no creditcard, no paypal etc.)

So when law enforcement tries to get info from them, they can only give what they have (ips which connected to VPN, IPs with which you ordered the VPN)

Thus you should order over their .onion tld and ONLY connect to it from public wifi.

it's rare to find a place with public wifi without cams
so this could go in 2 directions
1- they actually don't log any ip as they pretend to
2- they give your public ip to the police they track the place you got wifi from, request camera records and activity log from the internet provider and boom the guy who's connected to a vpn is our guy
the real solution is to buy a vps with xmr, ssh into it using tor, setup your own vpn without logging, and setup mullvad vpn on the server and your device .
i don't think it's possible to be tracked that way

A Server (including VPN) always keep track of incoming and outgoing traffic and the IPs which do that.

The second solution is obviously better, however you are still not 100% anonymouse. if they glowies want you, they get you.
