is it okay to use nordvpn or should i use something else, if i should avoid it, what vpn would yall recommend?

VPN's should be fine for that, unless you do a big hit on some crypto site, would probably be safe to use a RDP

Though if you want to be most safe, you should use an RDP or proxy connections, but a vpn SHOULD be fine though I can't promise anything. I use Mullvad, it's cheap and simple. Really like it.

rdp or proxy connections? proxies are more confusing to me i think i'd rather an rdp, have you used an rdp before? i don't know which to use, i will be sticking with just a vpn for now but i'm interested for future reference

I used jink.host for https://jink.host/ RDP and now as web hosting. They are good, and have good plans.
