How to claim your free month:

First you click the refferal link and accept the invitation

Then you log in with google / apple or email.

After you log in it will download the browser and you will install it, when you install it and open it you need to log in to the perplexity account that you used to accept the invitation
then you need to send a message to the assistant on the top right corner

After that you use the assistant with your perplexity account logged in you should receive an email that says that you have been upgraded to pro, and i will receive an email confirming your install
