Why doesn't my mouse clicks work

Didn't knew where to post so posted in the lounge.

So since yesterday, I am having this issue that on my work pc I am unable use my left click on the taskbars (top and bottom) of any program (notepad) (browser) but if I click any icon over desktop it works, it opens but I can't close as the taskbar doesn't work. Same I can't quick launch anything from the bottom nav bar of windows. I have windows 10 and this issue been kicking my head. It went through a update or something IDK and this happens.

Tried rebooting, shut down, turn on after 5-6 hrs, nothing seem to work, removed mouse connected back nothing.

What seem to be the issue, I am very confused, I have not downloaded anything but image files since past 2 months on that PC, so I don't think its any virus that been atatcking.

Check mouse settings or try a different one or/ in a different pc.

It happened to me too for some reason my Logitech mouse settings were reset.
 

1. Try Windows + R on your keyboard to open the Run dialog.
   
2. Type main.cpl and hit Enter.
   

This will open the Mouse Properties window, where you can adjust settings for your mouse.

Also Press Ctrl + Shift + Esc: This will directly open Task Manager.
Go to the Details Tab and check for anything unusual.
