There are a few reasons why that can happen but the ways to avoid this are: - Not redeem them to a new account - Have a secondary payment method and verified address linked to the account prior to redeeming - Although we think that internet privacy is important, using certain VPN services can associate you with a user that may have violated Amazon's Terms and Conditions if they are using the same IP address If Amazon puts a temporary hold on your account for any reason it is resolved by sending them a screenshot or PDF of your receipt from the site you have bought the giiftcard from (not sure if lucas provides this but you could just fake it i guess) that shows your purchase date and gift code as long as the Amazon account has not violated any terms and conditions.
