Vouch without a thread

Maybe I simply didn't found a way but, why can't we +vouch someone without user having a thread for the topic? For example I sold someone a YouTube premium upgrade but I don't have a thread for that. Can the user just add the vouch on my profile or something? How does this works?

Also is there a way for an user to change/modify their vouch after given?

You have the reputation system for that. Vouches are for the successful trades made in the marketplace zone of the forum.
