Although I'm sure many of you may know of this already, And i have even known of this for years on my phone, But i never realized to what extent it actually sped it up! I no longer lag on any games i play, and buffering is now a thing of the past!


This is an easy way to improve your internet connection a ton, Most people know of it already, But in case you don't, You definitely should. I will be including very easy ways to change your DNS also.

I have used this for a while, I went through many tips or whatever on youtube and such to "speed up" your network but they all were just slightly or just clickbait honestly, But this really works, and will take you from crappy internet anywhere, To amazing internet.

Pretty much, by changing your DNS to 1.1.1.1, It will make it more private, and way, way less clouded and way faster. 




Here is my speed now, without it - 


It averages around 3 - 4 megabytes at midnight.

And here is it with the 1.1.1.1 DNS. (Using NordVPN's Built in DNS Changer / Auto Version)



And here it is with the 1.1.1.1 DNS (Without the NordVPN Built in DNS Changer / Manual Version)



So now into the actual tutorial of the thread, It's quite simple. 

First, the auto version, for those who just want it done quickly. If you have NordVPN, Just click the setting bar in the top right.





Then, After you click there, Click on Advanced > Custom Dns > Then type 1.1.1.1 and click Set New DNS




After this, You are done! This also helps with slow connection speeds on Nord, And various other VPNs that have built-in DNS Changers when you don't have any servers near you, Or just need to view something that requires you to be out of your location.

Now for the Manual version.

This one is slightly longer, But it is simple all the same, And also has slightly faster connections speeds. 

First, Download NirSoft's QuickSetDNS here --> QuickSetDNS (Official Website)

After it is downloaded, Please click here




Next, Click on your Wi-Fi Adapter and then click on properties, This is where you enter the DNS



After you set this to OK, You now have sped up your internet. I would advise restarting any game or browser you are currently using to experience the changes
