Not sure if it's feasible, but it would be nice if the alerts were converted to use WebSockets or SSE's so we could get notification updates without refreshing the page.

I believe @J_S already has some experience working with WebSockets (from Shoutbox), but again, I'm not sure how much he'd be able to leverage existing code for a project like this. Talked to @J_S briefly last week and he does not have prior experience w/ WebSockets. My bad. |
