I've seen many account recovery threads (including mine) left unanswered for long periods of time.
I don't believe this is the fault of admins; I think the process just needs an update since the original account recovery guide thread was made 8 years ago:

The current process (made in 2018) includes an email account that is no longer active.
Just like me, I see a lot of people who panicked and deleted their 2FA once the domain was seized.
Could some of these people just be scammers who want to gain access to accounts they don't own? Of course, but those of us who legitimately lost our accounts are left completely unable to regain access.
