SpaceX, the aerospace company, is reportedly dealing with a cybersecurity issue where a hacking group named Hunters International claims to have leaked SpaceX data. This data was first exposed in an earlier breach in 2023 involving another hacking group, LockBit, which attacked a third-party manufacturing contractor in Texas linked to SpaceX. LockBit had then threatened SpaceX’s CEO Elon Musk, demanding a ransom to prevent selling sensitive SpaceX data.

Now, Hunters International has allegedly leaked the same data, suggesting they might be using old data to pressure SpaceX. Adding to the concerns, another hacking group named Cactus ransomware claims to have stolen and leaked large amounts of data from an aerospace manufacturer that supplies to companies like SpaceX.

As of now, SpaceX has not confirmed any of these breaches, and their website appears unaffected. The recurrence of these data breaches underscores the ongoing cybersecurity threats faced by major companies and the need for strong protective measures.
