Hello there,

The Idea:
I've been losing many RDPs that got corrupted and eventually banned due to exceeding their storage space. I realized that this was mainly because of the large size of my text files, which were scattered across different locations on my RDP. To resolve this, I created and am now sharing this code with you to free up space on your RDP and to organize all your text files into a specific folder.

You must register or login to view this content.

I'll be sharing more advanced software, files, and methods on my Telegram as well.

Installation & Usage Instructions:
  1. Create a destination folder (where you want all the text files from your RDP to be moved).
  2. Extract the TextCleaner folder and keep it on your RDP desktop.
  3. Open the TextCleaner folder and run textpaths.txt. In this file, specify the path of each folder containing text files that should be moved to the destination folder, listing each path on a new line. Save your changes.
  4. Go back to the TextCleaner folder, open TextCleaner.bat, and update the line labeled "YOUR DESTINATION PATH HERE" with the path to your destination folder.

Now, each time you run TextCleaner, it will gather all the text files specified in textpaths.txt and move them to your destination folder.

5. You can use the second batch script provided. Place it in your destination folder and run it (but be cautious—it will permanently delete all text files in the folder without sending them to the Recycle Bin!).
Hope this helps!
Code:

@echo off
REM Warning: This script will delete ALL files in the current folder.

REM Confirm with the user before deleting

set /p confirm="Are you sure? (Y/N): "
if /i "%confirm%" NEQ "Y" exit

del /Q *.*

echo All files have been deleted.
