Cracked grows daily, but users don’t really have any incentives to refer users to buy upgrades.
To entice members to refer users, there should be an affiliate/commission system where members get a percentage off the purchased upgrade.
Basically, if I refer someone and they upgrade or spend, they still get their rank, but I receive a percentage as forum credit or a withdrawable balance.
should, of course, make it so staff check out the referrals to make sure people don't just use alts to abuse the new system or something!
