This method is quite sleazy. The reason is: Someone is gonna get hurt. That is; the delivery driver. He will be penalized for this scam. Sorry but that is what it is. The item that you reported "missing" is gonna cost the deliveryman a portion of his money.

Not to mention; you can't do this many times over because Amazon might just ban your account when they find out. They track your order history so if the next time you try this method the person does a cross-check of your account and sees that items go "missing" way too many times, they won't take your word for it anymore.
