I mean it depends on what you are doing, I use a macbook pro for pentesting, hacking, and coding because I like the extreme battery life combined with the very powerful M2 Pro chips. Also the macos terminal is very flexible with things like homebrew. Macbook security is definitely better then windows. I started to use a macbook for all that stuff because I just cant stand windows anymore and all the bloatware crap that comes installed its exhausting. If I have to go out of my way to find a modified version of windows thats reputable just to avoid all my windows bloatware crap, Im out. Not to mention pretty much all the new versions of windows are worse then the last. I only went to macbook because my hatred of windows is little more then my hatred of Apple. Since the change I like doing my "ethical" hacking on macbook over windows nowadays, I can also use a simple windows environment to run other stuff on windows only using UTM machines. Thats about where it ends for Apple Macs though. Most things are oriented to windows of course. I really like the keyboard on macbooks though xD
