when dumping a fivem server, the assets (like cars, peds, clothes, mlos etc) are being dumped from caches of the server are encrypted.

so they need decryption. does redEngine have this?

redENGINE was able to dump streamed files on servers prior to the recent FiveM update, I'm not aware of any changes so yea you should be able to dump streamed files like MLOs, clothes, vehicles, etc. Should work fine, you'll basically be able to steal paid MLOs from servers if they're being streamed and take them for yourself. 

As far as I'm aware there's not any actual obfuscation with streamed files like this since it's only a recent update that allowed some executors to have this feature so there's no deobfuscation needed with this stuff. It's all ready to use after being dumped

In terms of client-sided files which you can dump, if a server has obfuscation then that's on you to deobfuscate it, redENGINE doesn't include a deobfuscator; it will only dump the files for you and enable you to save them, most servers don't actually bother with obfuscation so you probably won't come across issues frequently.

yeah i know about obfuscated scripts.

i am talking about cache decryption tho.

when you dump MLOs and other assets from a server do you get the files as a .ydr or .ybn for example?

or you dump the caches and then need to decrypt?

Not sure about this sorry, people that I asked don't seem to know the answer and I personally don't play FiveM so I don't know either
