Supreme Edited Draft no longer exists when I post the Thread

Hey, I went to edit a draft I was working on and I went to go post the thread and I got a message saying "This specified thread does not exist" 
I went back to my drafts and the draft was no longer there and it did not publish. Pls let me know what happened.
