#1
Tools Needed:
  • 2 eyes (preferably your own)
  • A functioning brain (optional for some people)

Instructions:
  1. Understand the Concept
    • Blinking is the process of quickly closing and opening your eyelids to keep your eyes moist and clean. Simple enough, right?
  2. Relax Your Face
    • Make sure your face muscles aren’t tense. No need to overthink this—you’ve likely been blinking since birth.
  3. Prepare Your Eyelids
    • Focus on your eyelids. They’re the stars of the show. If they feel like they don’t want to cooperate, give them a pep talk.
  4. Close Your Eyelids
    • Gently lower your top eyelids until they meet the bottom ones. Don’t slam them shut—you’re not trying to win a blinking speed contest.
  5. Open Your Eyelids
    • Raise your top eyelids back up to their original position. Congratulations, you’ve blinked!
  6. Repeat Automatically
    • Allow your body to take over. Most people blink 15–20 times per minute without thinking about it. If you’re manually blinking now, don’t panic—it will go back to autopilot soon.
  7. Troubleshooting
    • If your eyes feel dry, blink a few extra times for bonus moisture.
    • If you’re staring at a screen, try the 20-20-20 rule: blink every 20 seconds while looking at something 20 feet away for 20 seconds.
  8. Celebrate Your Mastery
    • Pat yourself on the back for successfully blinking. You’ve achieved peak human functionality.
