Suggestion:

Make a quick & easy button to minimize the shoutbox similar to mybb use to have spoilers way back in the day

So it goes from a box, to just a line, and can be clicked again to simply bring it back to original size and form.

There's some days that the shoutbox is actually funnily entertaining, and other days the level of retardation that I want to bathe in bleach.

There's no in between.
