Not really, but you can generally get plugins on a developer theme and trial them for free, from here you can attempt to reverse engineer the plugin by inspecting the frame and requests going back and fourth. It's important to note that the vast majority of Shopify applications are pure trash and generally maintained by a guy named Rakesh who lives in Mumbai. 

What is it you a wanting to achieve? If it's UI/UX related with some hackery you can achieve most of what the apps offer.
