Scammers Profile Link: https://cracked.sh/GlowStudio
Sales Thread: https://cracked.sh/Thread-%E2%9C%A8%EF%B...%80%A2-BOT
Amount or Item(s) Scammed: $600
Screenshots of Communication: I will provide to staff privately
Additional Information: I paid the seller for a web design, and we initially agreed on a delivery timeframe of six days. A few days into the project, I was informed that the designer was hospitalized and that the seller would assign the project to another designer.

When I received a preview of the design, I was disappointed, as it resembled a website from 2005 and did not meet my expectations for a project worth $1,200. Despite my feedback, the seller refused to change the designer or issue a refund, insisting that I accept a design that I clearly did not like or want.

I am seeking either a talented new designer who can create a visually appealing website that aligns with my expectations or a full refund so that I can hire someone else.
Crypto address for a refund: I will provide to seller privately

(This post was last modified: 05 December, 2024 - 08:54 PM by GlowStudio. Edited 1 time in total.)
1. the project was originally priced at $1200, but the developer sent $600 (without clearing it with me), so we started working on half of the pages from the task (photo)[Image: wwYWHiB.png][Image: AnuH0xW.png]

2. indeed, the previous designer had problems and ended up in hospital, I found out about it when I called him on the phone
however, I quickly replaced the old designer with a new one
meanwhile, the new one has the same experience as the previous one, because we do not work with newbies
new designers portfolio > https://t.me/+GE_IjDdPqrIyMWIy
we did not ask for extra payment for the new designer

3. as soon as we sent the page structure and the client wrote that he didn't like what he did
[Image: HOOsfit.png]

the client also wanted to return part of the money because the old designer was replaced by a newbie (I don't agree with this at all)
you can judge for yourself, I've worked with a lot of designers, as for me, the work was done well at this stage
besides, the client worked with us, he knows the quality of our work and he saw our portfolio https://glowstudio.space/portfolio
link to what we managed to do in this order https://imgur.com/a/EyIsBhM

3. then the client wanted us to change the designer again, but firstly we can’t change them endlessly, and secondly all the others are currently on large orders

4. then we tried to somehow fix the situation: we asked for some edits and the client replied, "you are designers, make something unique"

5. in the end, the client wrote that we should return all the money, I do not agree with this, since we have already done the work > https://imgur.com/a/EyIsBhM

I propose to resolve the issue as follows
1. we will keep part of the money (30% of $600 = $180) from the order, since part of the work has been done
2. we will continue to work, but only if the client provides edits, references, etc.

We told you we would send the rest of the money when possible, but that doesn’t change anything. You don’t owe us $1,200; you owe us $600.

Frankly, I don’t care whether your designer has done any work or not. We are used to a much higher quality of design, and asking $180 for that is unreasonable.

You should've refunded us after your main designer was hospitalized; instead, you gave the project to someone who apparently has no aesthetic sensibility. We clearly communicated our dissatisfaction with the design, and since then, no work has been done. This is wasting our time, which we cannot afford. The new designer continues to present more options to start the project, but as we stated, we want a different designer.

As I mentioned, I either want my $600 back or a different designer. I’m surprised you’re not embarrassed to post images of the site while admitting to asking $1,200 for it.

if you are used to higher quality design - why did you contact us? we have worked together on several projects. do you think we did it badly on purpose?

you don't know how to work with people and don't appreciate their work

maybe I should have refused you when you sent me this message - it's just an indicator that you treat people like animals

I'm waiting for the report's decision

You have a history of poor performance on similar projects, yet we still contacted you with the expectation that you could at least do a good job on this relatively simple task. Your sole responsibility was to make the page look appealing, yet you delivered a page that looked like it belonged in 2005. You demanded $180 for it, and then you had the audacity to blame me for not appreciating your work. I am not at fault for your inability to do your job seriously.

If you disagree, I'll gladly post examples of your previous work, which will undoubtedly reflect poorly on your service.

The designer asked to add:

"I will add a clarification to the report that this was only the beginning of the work and it is unknown why he is judging. If he is used to seeing a higher quality design, then why did he not send a higher quality design for reference when asked to show what he wants to see.

Screenshots of the work were sent to assess the state of the header, or to be more precise - to choose one of several proposed options to replace the one that does not suit the client's needs, which for some reason I have to guess."

We agreed on a qualified designer, and I approved their resume for $1200. After a few days of waiting, you gave me a new, inexperienced designer instead of refunding my money. This feels like a scam.

When I said I didn’t want the new designer, you said, 'He is good too,' which makes it seem like you planned this from the start. The original deal was for a good designer whose resume I had seen and accepted for $1200.

The new designer doesn’t know how to create modern UIs and is producing work that looks dated, like it’s from the 1990s. My time is very important, and this situation has been frustrating.

I need a full refund or a replacement designer whose resume I can see and approve first. Please resolve this quickly.
