Is anyone else not able to locate "Intuit.Ctg.Wte.UseCase.Startup" in the Intuit.Ctg.Wte.UseCase.dll? I can find "Intuit.Ctg.Wte.UseCase" but not with ".Startup."  When I open up the file (w/out .Startup), there is no "LifeCycleUseCaseController" item.  I tried uninstalling, reinstalling, and ran into the same issue again.

I separately tried dropping in the cracked dll files into my install directory and TurboTax would no longer open.  Maybe I'm missing something?

Find the yellow item labeled "Intuit.Ctg.Wte.UseCase.Startup" and click on it.
A green item called "LifeCycleUseCaseController" will show, click on it to expand.

A bunch of orange names will now show.
Find the one called "PerformStartup( <stuff in here> ) : void" and right click on it. Click on the option that says "Edit Method (C#) ..."

A window with code will open. Within the code, delete line 142 which has the following: this.ShowActivationDialogWindow(splashWindow);
Once you delete the line, at the bottom of the window, click "Compile" and the window will close.

In the main window of dnSpy, click on File -> Save Module. A window will open, click on "OK"

easy peacy

does anyone find a bypass to make more than 5 taxes?

A window with code will open. Within the code, delete line 144 which has the following: this.ShowActivationDialogWindow(splashWindow)

This line is now at Line 142. Deleting this line results in error when I hit Compile next. Any suggestion?

There are a whole bunch of line below line 142. What lines should I delete altogether?

Thanks for the help.

I have the same problem. I had no issues modifying the Intuit.Ctg.Wte.Service.Interface.dll file to select the version I want. However, when trying to edit the second dll (Intuit.Ctg.Wte.UseCase.dll), I have no problem finding the right place and navigating to LifeCycleUseCaseController, selecting "PerformStartup( <stuff in here> ) : void", editing it with "Edit Method (C#) ..." and deleting "this.ShowActivationDialogWindow(splashWindow); " (which is row 142 in the 2024 version of TT). However, it won't compile...I'm getting a bunch of errors with long texts at the bottom, all referencing Intuit.Ctg.Wte.Service and Intuit.Ctg.Wte.Service.Interface. I'm of course running dnSpy as admin. I have tried this multiple times, but keep getting the same errors. I have done this in the past years with no issues. Can anyone help?

Just to add to the above: I have also tried leaving the first dll as original and only editing the second one, but keep getting the same errors. Also, even when making no changes in the Intuit.Ctg.Wte.UseCase.dll, it still won't compile...same errors. I tried last year's file and that will compile no problem, even with no changes. I'm no coder, so not sure where to even begin troubleshooting this. I'm using an old version of dnSpy (6.1.8) - hopefully that's not the problem. Thanks for any help.

Would you mind sharing the cracked Intuit.Ctg.Wte.UseCase.dll? I posted a question / description of my issues editing it and not being able to compile it right below your message. If you have any idea what could be causing my errors when trying to compile the file, that'd be greatly appreciated.

I was getting the same compile error and I ended up uninstalling both 2023 and 2024 versions of TT that I had on my computer, then restarted computer, then only installed 2024 TT and it compiled.
