RDP OR VM?

Hi guys!
this is my first post here so bare with me.
i recently got btc clipped and didnt even know  so i use my main pc alot because i dont really do much illegal shit   but i want to start using a RDP or VM.
i know how to use VM and shit but that shit was so frustrating at times. i dont really know anything on how to use a RDP. witch one is better and more beginner friendly. need some input please!

RDP is more easy to use, to setup, and have a good internet connection

kinda depends what you wanna do on them and what your budget is, if you can afford an rdp then I would just go with that

if you just want to be safe from viruses, use a vm
if you want a private new pc, that doesn't run on your specs and want a new ip, get an rdp

and if ur elite, use an rdp on a vm

For a beginner I'd actually advocate for using VM's if your host machine is powerful enough and you choose the right virtualization platform.  VMware Workstation is pretty easy, even for beginners.  One of the nice things about using local VM's is that they're great for experimenting with and using as a pseudo lab environment.  Want to run something w/ Kali? Fire up a VM.  Try out the latest Windows Server?  Fire up a VM.  Want a sandbox for iffy software?  You get the point.  For privacy / anonymity, you can run a double VPN setup - with VPN running on your host machine (shared connection), then using a second VPN connection on your VM.
