The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim, released in 2011, has surpassed the 2 billion mod download mark. Skyrim: Special Edition holds the record with 6.2 billion downloads, making both versions of the game the leaders on Nexus Mods.
By comparison, Fallout 4 has 1.7 billion downloads, Fallout: New Vegas has 700 million, and Cyberpunk 2077 is fifth with 500 million downloads. Skyrim remains the undisputed favorite among modders.
