Hi All,

I'm new here and found the forum couple months back and got to know OpenBullet. I wonder is there any tips and tricks to best use the tool such as:
- Running it in a VM
- Using proxies
- How to write config?
- Where to passively collect combos?

Thank you and appreciate your knowledge sharing!!!

Openbullet is opensource and you shouldn't need to run it inside a VM if you are getting your binaries from the official repository, https://github.com/openbullet/openbullet. Use proxies if you do not want to get your main IP rate-limited or blacklisted. Writing a configuration can either be done with the GUI stacker or loliscript which is what the stacker uses as the backend. If you are just starting out read this, https://openbullet.github.io/stacker.html. Not really related to openbullet but there is no "passive" way to collect quality combo lists. If you want you could make a custom fork of openbullet and add automated combo-scraping, this seems out of your capabilities but none-the-less a "passive" way of getting combo lists. Hope this helped!

Hi Dank,

Thanks for the response. I think I'm ok with using the stacker to build config but what is the general approach when you want to config a site? Say, paypal.com what should we do to config it?

Thanks again!

You may get better responses if you post in the appropriate sections.

Anyways, you'll want a VPN to protect your identity, a VM to protect your hardware, and proxies so you can actually crack without getting banned. Writing configs is pretty straight forward but you can find tutorials on it, on C.to -> https://cracked.sh/search.php

Making combos is a bit more difficult as you'd either need access to:
- Database Dumps
- Password/Salt Parser
- Dehashed DBs (https://hashes.org/) or DIY (https://hashcat.net/hashcat/ , https://www.openwall.com/john/ , etc...)
- Combo Parser
