What do you go for these days? Since Nvidia came with RTX I think they are the way to go, although pricing is a bit hit or miss  Smart

It depends, I always used AMD cards with AMD processors. They were still cheaper, but more storm hungry.

You cant say that an RX 5700 XT isn't a good deal for the price.

I have always prefered Nvidia, but for a budget build I would suggest AMD - they've both made great cards lately.

GPU wise NVIDIA would be superior. Regarding CPU however, AMD is a steal.
