Not able to setup 2FA - When will this feature return?

This has probably been reported before but I just want to check if there's a timeline on when 2FA can be fixed? 
I always get unable to verify code when I'm trying to set it up. I used copy the key and even scanned QR but keep getting the error still.

You need to enter your code after scanning qr code on your phone. If you fail (invalid code) you need to rescan it again.
