Let’s be honest: this forum section has been flooded with scammers over the years. It’s always the same people under different accounts. Banned members come back on alts, hassle legitimate sellers, and flood us with low-quality deals that ruin the vibe for everyone.
To the mods: feel free to do as you wish with this thread—pin it, hide it, edit it, or remove it altogether. I’m not here for personal gain; this is for the people who are constantly browsing, buying, and trading here. At the very least, consider leaving it up so folks have a shot at avoiding scams and curbing their losses.

For the "future" buyer:
If you skip this and end up getting scammed, that’s on you. We’ve got two kinds of people here.

2. Those Who Haven't Been Scammed Yet.

You have a choice:

1.1 The Risky Option.
Sometimes, a seller refuses to use a middleman for what they claim are “legit” reasons—limited deals, time constraints, you name it. If you still decide to proceed, fine. But before you do, do your research on the seller.

• Investigate their profile. Check their threads, posts, feedback, and overall reputation.
  
• Look for scam reports and see what others are saying about them.
  
• See who they’re affiliated with—are there any shady associations?
  
• Don’t trust vouches at face value. Ask for proof when it’s vague or unclear.
  
• Check who’s backing them. Look at their conduct and what they’re offering.
  
• Trust your instincts. You’ve got the tools to dig into a user’s background, so use them. Don’t just hand over your cash and hope for the best.
  

Important: Anyone can scam you—whether they made their account five minutes ago or have years of history, heaps of rep, awards, and vouches. A long-standing record doesn’t automatically mean they won’t serve you a bad product or scam you outright.
If you see something sketchy, report it. You’re protecting everyone by doing so.
 
1.2 The Safer Option.
If you value your money and time, use a middleman, even for smaller trades. Whether you’re dealing with the shadiest or the most reputable seller, you have the right to protect yourself.
The forum offers trusted MMs like @Liars (thread) and @Lucas (thread) who have been active for a long time. Work out the terms with both the seller and the MM so things run smoothly. Yes, a fee might apply, but it’s a small cost for peace of mind. Better to pay a bit now than lose everything later.

Tips for a Secure Transaction:

• Keep logs of all discussions.
  
• Screenshot your payment confirmations.
  
• Save every bit of info—transaction IDs, agreements, screenshots.
  
• If things go south, you’ll have the evidence you need to file a dispute and get forum support.
  

Don’t get taken in by flashy threads and empty promises. If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.

2. Those Who Have Been Scammed.

If you’ve already been scammed, accept it happened or file a report. There’s a guide on how to properly file one, so follow it and check the rules. If someone has already filed a report against the same seller, don’t spam their thread—make your own.
Keep it concise: show your proof, cooperate with the staff, and if possible, try to fix it directly with the seller. Don’t ghost the moderators—respond and meet the timelines they set.

That’s all. Stay safe, use your head, and don’t let these scammers get a free pass. The tools are at your disposal—make use of them.
