MOTM NOMINATED NOT UPGRADING

Pls disable the 5 MOTM competitors to upgrade other people while the voting happens. This influences and gives the "rich" ones advantage over someone that has actually grinded. I understand c.to is a business, but MOTM has no other reward then showing people how good you are, if you take that away, there is nothing to compete for in MOTM

Member Of The Month can't be a fair competition because, in most cases, it's entirely based on the influence someone has on the shoutbox.
You win MOTM by genuinely being friendly or pretending to be nice. You play a politician and hope people vote for you when judgment day comes.
There're few exceptions: people who employ their skills to benefit the community, like coders, developers, reversers, and @carrie.

I would not say I like how MOTM works, but at the end of the day, if it helps people bond, I can see why Staff may be reluctant to change it.
